I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Comparative Language Science at the University of Zurich and the Neuroscience Centre Zurich. I obtained my Master's degree in Linguistics with a focus on Phonetics and Speech Science from UZH, where I wrote my MA Thesis on the talker familiarity effect on speech perception in older adults.

Currently, I am working on the SNSF Ambizione Project Preisig, which explores the role of auditory selective attention involved in speech processing. My research interests center around target selection and distractor suppression mechanisms and their relation to the aging brain and hearing impairment.
