As a researcher in natural language processing at the Institute of Computational Linguistics as University of Zurich, my main field of interest is biomedical text mining. My work includes different textual data sources, such as abstracts and full-text research papers from the biomedical domain (PubMed and PubMed Central), health-related content from social media, and annotated corpora. I have experience in applications such as named entity recognition (NER), relation- and event extraction. I have applied rule-based approaches, as well as methods of machine learning, and deep learning.
