My research interest involves a wide array of speech production phenomena. In particular, I am interested in the relationship between (i) physiological structure and speech acoustics, (ii) articulatory kinematics and acoustic dynamics, and (iii) phonatory and articulatory processes. At the same time, I am also interested in individual differences in speech production. Knowledge about the wide variability in healthy speech production will help us chart the healthy-pathological boundaries, which will be informative in voice and speech pathologies.
