I am a linguist, currently working as a postdoc at the German department (UZH). I came to the topic “language and medicine” rather by accident: I was involved in a publication, a collaboration between clinical psychologists and linguists, on linguistic features of suicidal thoughts and behavior (review paper). In doing so, I noticed that there are many connections between “language” and “language in medicine”. In general, I am thematically open to collaborations, with my expertise in linguistics being in the morphology and syntax of the German language, and an interest in variation (e.g., dialect vs. standard, orality vs. written) and multilingualism. For further information please visit my website.
