I have a degree in Linguistics and Literary Studies, specialising in applied linguistics, from the University of Vigo. My research focuses on the phonetic level of language. I have worked on the sociolinguistic analysis of Galician Spanish and am currently studying the phonetic component and its possible alterations in people suffering from mental illness. I also collaborate with the Language and Cognition Laboratory at the University of Vigo on the research carried out there.
