I am a senior researcher at the Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW)- InIT and the University of Zurich (UZH)-KrauthammerLab.
I completed my Ph.D. degree at the University of Oslo in the Language Technology group on Low-Resource Adaptation of Neural NLP Models.
Before pursuing a Ph.D., I worked as a research engineer at the INRIA Sophia-Antipolis research center in the WIMMICS team. I also spent a year in the Parsing and Semantics Group at the Xerox Research Center Europe in Grenoble, which is now Naver Labs Europe. I earned my master's degree from the Erasmus Mundus Master Program in Data Mining and Knowledge Management.
Currently, I am working on projects related to Medical AI Assistant tools, Radiology Edication with AI-driven Digital Platform and Multimodal Multilingual Natural Language Understanding and Data Exploration.
I conducted the seminar course "Natural Language in Medicine" in the Department of Computational Linguistics during the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters.
My project proposal “TRUST-RAD: Trustworthy Medical AI Assistant tools for Radiology” has been accepted by DIZH-Rapid-Action-Call 2024.
