L&M Co-Director Prof. Nathalie Giroud secures SNF grant
L&M Co-Director Prof. Nathalie Giroud has secured funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), together with Dr. Niharika M. K. from the JSS Institute of Speech and Hearing in Karnataka, India, for the project «Behavioural and Neurophysiological Correlates of Speech Perception in Elderly Hearing Aid Users». With a grant of CHF 19,200, this scientific exchange will run from September 2024 to February 2025. The project aims to advance the understanding of how elderly individuals with hearing aids perceive speech, contributing valuable insights to the field of auditory neuroscience.
